I’m a little jazzed about this year’s upcoming session of the Global Leadership Institute. This is the third year of the institute. The goal has been to provide a yearly, two week, seminary like training experience for pastors and leaders in West Africa, many who have never had a seminary education. It’s a classroom format, two hour lectures sessions throughout the day on everything from overviews of books of the Bible, personal and corporate leadership, preaching, to raising up leaders.
This year I’ll be teaching 6 two hour sessions, along with preaching twice on Wednesday evenings, and once on a Sunday at a local church in Lungi, Sierra Leone. I’m really proud of our church. This year we raised enough money to purchase 25 net books for GLI pastors. Many of them will go to pastors who have never owned a personal computer. They will be loaded with Bible software for deeper study.
Please keep our team of 5 in prayer. It kicks off Monday, October 24th and will run through Friday, Nov. 4th. The institute will be held in Lugi this year. The accommodations there will be a even more primitive than we are accustom to.
