Hudson Taylor, the great missionary leader to China, said that every great move of God goes through three phases – impossible, difficult, and then done.

As I look back on how the Lord has worked greatly on our behalf to help us purchase 18 acres of land I find the above statement applies. Every church needs a home. We’ve been a homeless church now for almost eight years, like the children of Israel wandering through the wilderness, plopping down wherever we could find a spot to rest. God had a great work he wanted to do through us, but at the start it looked impossible.

In January of this year we had zero for a down payment on anything. We had a dream, but it looked impossible. When you have zero $400,000 is like 2 million. We were able to develop a plan, and what was impossible was reduced to difficult.

Today, the work is now DONE! Yesterday the papers were signed and we closed on 17.6 acres of land. When it comes to land for a church they say there are three things to look for – location, location, and location. This property has all of those things.

To God be the glory. For all of those who sacrificially gave and stood in faith may the Lord richly bless you. You were a part of the making this God sized dream a reality.
