Life can be tough. It’s not a sprint, but a marathon. Sometimes there are long stretches that go up hill making your your legs and your chest burn. Everything inside wants to quit. It can really be tough during those stretches when you seem to be running alone. Ever been there? How do you make it through?

All of us are running this race of life, the marathon of faith. Like the physical body needs to be refreshed, our spirits also need rejuvenation. We can find new power for the next leg in worship. When we worship God we think about his worth, who he is, all he’s done, and express our thanks and appreciation to him. When we worship we take our eyes off our problems and look to the solution. As we draw near to him he draws near to us and fills us with new strength.

I want to invite you this weekend to a special time of worship led by worship artists Bradley and Rebecca at Patriot High School at 10:30 AM. This gifted couple will be leading us in song, some familiar, some original, all of it encouraging! We hope to see you there.
