On Saturday a team from VC installed a chair lift for Cindy Koenigshof, a precious lady fighting stage 4 cancer. This lift means she can get out of her basement and to the hospital for treatment. Jacob Koch, who leads the VC outreach team wrote me the following email on Sunday.
“I feel our first project was a success! I went back this afternoon and put up the grab bars. Than we were able to bring Cindy up to the 1st floor to spend time with her family. She was so happy and thankful for all of the help she received from our team. I felt the team that worked yesterday worked very well together.
Cindy now is able to go to her doctor’s. She is able to spend time with her family in her living room in her chair that we fought to get up the stairs. She had lunch at the dining room table this afternoon with her family for the first time in months. Along with the hospital bed that we helped retrieve and set up is allowing her to sleep in her bed for the 1st time in months.
I’d say that is success! Doing God’s work to provide blessings to those in need.”
